Is it possible to back up the favorites file? Or to restore it from a previous state?

A few days ago when I opened up Webdownloader and opened the favorites, the file was empty and all the data was gone.

I've overwritten the file now by adding new favorites to it but I would like to know for the future if I can back it up - or if there is already a way to restore it from a prior state.
