Hi,

Sorry for the delayed reply, been away from home.

It seems that Yahoo have changed the way you log in, and you can only use an email address if it is a Yahoo one, despite it saying 'Enter email address'. The only way to log in with a non-Yahoo email is to use your Flickr/Yahoo user name.

I was able to log in on normal browsers was because I had set them to auto-login.

In summary, using my user name I can log in with Web Downloader without any problems.

Thanks for your help, this has been better support than I get from some paid for programs! I will go and make a donation.

Hi Pete, I had no luck on that error message.

Can you confirm again that you can login using the same account from a browser?

I only have the one Flickr account, and one personal email account. The only other email I have is for work, and I can't use that for personal.

Just had a thought. My email address has an underscore in it (of the form xxxx_yyyyyyyyy@hotmail.com); could that be causing a problem?

No different I'm afraid. There was only the BrowserCache_63 folder, which I deleted.

Click inside the browser. 

Press Ctrl+F2

Delete folder BrowserCache

And BrowserCache_63

Restart the program.

Hope it will work.

A slight change, but still can't log in, getting 'Sorry, we don't recognize this email.' on both Flickr and Yahoo now.

Is there anywhere I can clear the cache, like in a normal browser? Just a thought that it might be causing the problem.
