is this s till broken? i queue up an entire flickr account and the qeue finished but the number of files dont match up.
There have been improvements on this issue.
1. pause / resume
2. download page N to M
remaining issue: global cancel button
Would be nice to have a Cancel (Download) button on the front interface or on the
Download Multiple media box too so you can quickly cancel a download
session as well as a Pause button suggested by Elton.
It seems to work. There is one "bug".
How I typically download flickr images is going to the end of the album/photostream.
When the "Download multiple media items" box with images appear, I always use that drop down. with options
"Save page x"
Save pages 1 to X
Save pages x to x
Save all pages"
That drop down does not appear when there is only ONE page. I then have to "select all" pages then queue those 60+ images.
A nice to have is to be able to pause downloading while still being able to process/parse/save links.
I noticed that to parse links/saved pages it also downloads at full speed. Is it possible to throttle the DL or at least pause it while saving pages?
Elton please try build 476
I have installed build 335 and 459. 335 did not even open. Too old it seems.
HOWEVER, 459 installed and it works beautifully. Broken code? Anyway, 459 did also not complain about a pesky browser compatibility. I'll post a picture of it later.
"The delay for program to initialize is because you have a lot of items in the queue?" Yes, due to me having to overcome the problem by downloading each picture independently. (I cannot *save pages 1 to XXX* or just *save all*)
Actually. I have 3 previous version. I'll install and see which one doesn't have the download problem and report back.
Elton I will write the results of my investigation by tomorrow.
The delay for program to initialize is because you have a lot of items in the queue? Let me know so that I know what needs improvement.
So is it broken code or flickr that is the problem? Assuming it is broken code, what are the chances of access to previous versions of the software? Pretty please.
At the moment my work arround is selecting every picture and downloading. The downside is I need to go to every page and download every single picture. That is time consuming especially if someone has 10+ pages on Flickr. The app also takes ages to start since I have so many entries to download.
