Can automatically download the best available quality for a picture. After that
you can either store them on your hard drive or re-upload to an
image hosting server
.
The program allows you to define your preferred image quality
(original, large, medium).
While the software and access to it is free, if you would like to store a
significant amount of photos on flickr.com, there is a charge. You can pay for one or two
years at a time using credit cards or your paypal account if you have one. With
your account you can store as many photos as you'd like and share them with
friends and family. There are also a lot of add-on applications that will allow
you to create calendars, business cards and more.
It can also save protected images that are placed below the transparent
"spaceball" area. |

Help topic 1: Saving multiple pictures and entire sets |
|
|
|
|
|
To save multiple pictures navigate to a set (e.g. once in a picture click browse below the
previous/next icons).
To download some of the pictrures shown, click on those pictures to select them
and press "Save Selected"
To save all pages for the current set click the small "V" button and then "Save All Pages".
Known issue when saving an entire set.
Some sets do not "reveal" their total number of pages.
For example the set shown here has about 400 pages but only shows some of the
nearest pages to the current page.
On the other hand this set directly shows that it consists of 33 pages.
Flickr Downloader needs this information to enqueue all pages. To work around
this issue for now, if you come across such a case you will need to navigate to
the last page of the set manually and then press "Save all pages"
